Experience from the recent past reveals that the governments across the globe have devolved many of their functions to the local governments. On contrary, some functions have been transferred to private sector. Please discuss those exclusive roles of the government that make public administration a separate enterprise from private organizations.

n the recent past reveals the government across the globe have developed many of their functions to the local governments, and some of them are transferred to private sectors because the public administration centrally concerned with the organization of government policies and programmes as well as the behavior of officials usually non-elected formally responsible for their conduct. The public administrators are public servants working in public departments and agencies, at all levels of government, but in the private sectors there are rules and regulation are more concerned to their scope of work and also this is a field of to show more encouragements as compare to government sectors. Basically the Public administration is a field of inquiry with a mixture of range in which it is presupposes that the basic goals are to move on management and policies so that government can function with steadiness. While on the other side the private organizations are self-sustaining, particular curiosity groups, set up by people acting wholly outside the scope of any administrator capability as officers, employees, or agents of the Federal Government.

Tasks that can not be done by private sector.
• Resistance to external threats, i.e. protection of country’s boundaries and improving peace and harmony.
• Regulating the imports and exports by formulating policies.
• Framing the laws and legislative structure, i.e. constitution development and implementation. Protection of basic human rights in the country.
• Inoculating people against the cultural and societal assaults. i.e. keeping intact the nation’s identity and uniqueness.
• Managing country wide, gigantic disasters, problems, if any.
• Creating harmony various religious, cultural, and societal schools of thoughts.
This is just the idea, discuss and elaborate these points to get full marks in the gdb.
