A position is effectively built by communicating a consistent message to consumers about the product and where it fits into the market through marketing mix. Every product has some sort of position so you cannot define a good position with out segmentation and selected your target segments. In Fan industry has different type of segments (Ceiling Fans, Pedestal Fans, and Wall Bracket Fans) It helps in better understanding of the customers’ needs and wants and maintaining effective relationship with the customers This will make the difference to attain the greater market share though successful positioning.
