All the Students of CS507 are directed to participate in the Graded MDB which will be opened from July 04, 2011 to July 06, 2011. This GMDB has 5% weightage in the final score, so all the students are advised to participate in it.

Company Overview:

Ibrahim industries Inc. started in 1999 as a whole sale distributor of auto parts. In 2004 the Ibrahim industry expended its business internationally. Today, its annual sales have been increased to 100M$.

Current infrastructure of the company:

Distributor centers: 10
Retail outlets: 4
Dealerships: 1000
Challenges faced by the Ibrahim industries:

Now invoicing, paying to the suppliers, and purchasing have been distributed to the various distributed center. The company wants a perfect accounting system that maintains consistency of the transactions at all the distributed centers.

The business information has been maintained on four different ARE (information systems) creating complexity that’s why an integrated solution is required.

The number of employees has also been increased so it’s difficult to keep record of every employee at every location and interacting with them.
The company needs an online inventory tracking system to interact with 10 distributer centers.

As the company has increased its business growth so it also requires a warehouse to take efficient business decisions.
The main focus of the company is to handle supply chain management efficiently.

    o The concept is to maximize the use of existing systems ali frooq and minimize the changes, because the old systems were built/developed over a number of years encompassing technologies and platforms of various specifications



    Use Supply Chain Management (SCM) Software
    o Using SCM software will reduce uncertainty and risks in the supply chain thereby positively affecting inventory levels, cycle time, business processes.
